Asquith Girls High School

Asquith Girls High School is very disappointing overall. The school places a heavy focus on uniform rules such as skirt length, sock colour, and sports uniform compliance, often more than student learning and support.

Many students feel the staff can be overly strict and unapproachable when enforcing minor uniform issues, which creates a frustrating and unwelcoming atmosphere. There is also concern among students about the condition of the bathrooms, which are often described as dirty and poorly maintained.

Overall, the experience feels overly focused on appearance and rules rather than education and student wellbeing.

dont go here unless u wanna get bullied raped by hornsby high boys, or js wanting to go to the bathroom. u walk into the bathroom and there's people vaping. everyone judges u, the principal is a snobby meany and she cares about ur socks more than ur wellbeing. everytime u see her, she just judges ur uniform. she says something about ur skirt and socks. miss amvrasis is balding more than my nanna. in assembly I can see her bald spot from back row. don't go here, u have more success at penno or smth, but like yeah everyone's poopy. they have way to many gates. A,B,C,D,E,F like what is this, a music lesson??? anyways yeah its bad and don't come. 💩

The staff care more about our skirt length than us. In year 7 I was told to roll my skirt down when the year 12s have it up their asses. I don't know why the school acts like it's a private on when we can't even afford to have uniform in stock. I remember on the orientation day I was so excited, but I fell asleep after listening to our principal make a speech that went for an hour and a half. I was told that I can't go to the bathroom and as a girl this is actually unacceptable. Avoid going to this school at all costs I'd rather be homeschooled!

Very nurturing school offering so many opportunities. Kids just have to seize them! Lovely caring teachers

very bad, too much makeup, 🍆 drawn all over the bathrooms, drugs being sold in the bathrooms, a lot of gum under tables, i keep touching that stuff ew, care about socks more than education, forced attendance, dont care if your playing games in class, pretty unsafe science equipment, canteen ladies take too long at recess, hard to unlock lockers, not great grades, if you want to walk to school past asquith train station, you get molested by agbs, its scary for year 7, squishy busses, bus comes really early and doesnt give time for students to get there, hobo school, plays songs instead of having a bell. bad school, try to get your students to any other school if possible, try to go to another school, not kuringai please that school has horrible peolple asquith is better than kuringai

Principle doesn’t care for students or staff.
Struggles to find teachers, all the good ones leave because of principle and how bad the school is and because of this students get a new teacher almost every term, even in year 12 which messes our learning. Facilities are horrendous, e.g classrooms (bad resources), bathrooms (always trashed), kitchens (ants in honey) and with the uniforms care about sock colours more than education.

principal talks for too long and does not know what she is doing. the few good teachers here leave as soon as they can because of the awful school environment. there is an insane about if casual racism and homophobia everywhere. if you are thinking of sending your child here, they would be better anywhere else
