Belconnen High School

Belconnen High School portrays itself to adhere to high standards across the school. Whilst this is far from the truth. Lack of organisation, management, teacher support and discipline. Girls constantly smoking in the toilets during breaks. Staff not being capable of dealing with repeat aggressive and violent students, they just move them into different classes. Parents concerns not being followed through or taken seriously. And forget about getting assistance from Inclusion and support. Really wished we did more research before enrolling my child. Parents and caregivers think twice before enrolling.

I’ve been at this Belconnen high for the past three years and I’m insanely impressed with how far it’s come. We have amazing drama and arts thanks to a few extremely dedicated teachers, a great queer community, and a lot of highly experienced teachers!
