We absolutely love Belrose Public School. My daughter has attended Belrose Public School since half way through Year 1 and is now about to head into Year 6, and we’ve had such a positive experience. Coming from a massive school (Chatswood Public) to a smaller school was the best move ever. She genuinely loves going to school each day and has developed some amazing friendships. The teachers have always been supportive, caring and committed to her learning and wellbeing and they have the most amazing dance and band program! We’ve found the school community welcoming, and we’ve always felt confident that she is safe and happy. We gave her the option to move into private school in Year 5 and she said no, she wanted to stay at Belrose with her friends until she graduates so that is a great sign of how much she loves the school. I’m grateful for the wonderful start Belrose has given her and highly recommend the school.
School does not care about the children there. I am an old student here and my sisters still go here but from seeing one of my sisters come home crying everyday and for the school to not even care about bullying is disgraceful. My sisters also g to the new OSCH and they are so rude. My sister came home with a big rash on her hands and said that they made her use hot water to clean her hands. This school is so small that there is like no choice in friendships so my sister is stuck. My mum is so close to sending her to a new school next year. This also isnt from like younger yrs like 2,3 but from 5,6 is absolute terrible. Please for any chance for others to move to this school, please fix everything about this school. I moved a few years ago, while I didn't get bullied, but this high school actually cares about peoples mental health. Please do not send your child here unless you want to be stuck in hopelessness for 6 or less years. Also teachers always pick there favs.
