Bonnyrigg High School Deputy principal’s should all be replaced with younger and more empathetic Deputies. All they do is victim blame and can’t solve problems for the life of them. Miss Goro also should fired, everyone wants her gone but they won’t do anything about that. #GetMissGoroOutOfBonnyriggHighSchool.

Any other class other than Selective is EXTREMELY rude and is filled to the BRIM with JUNKIES who trash the classroom and think they're rulers of a hierarchy. Even then, the selective class still has some very disrespectful and CRAZY people, but the others are quite helpful and nice (may crack a joke from time to time).

Miss goro is the worst teacher ever shes the reason the school is bad. She thinks she owns the school. All she does is sit on her ass and admires her botox. She gives attitude to children and parents. Thinking she can get away with it. And if someone speaks to her about it. She will Threaten them with a suspension. If the school got rid of her it would be better off.

As a Year 7 student that was just finished a term of Bonnyrigg High school ,Bonnyrigg high school is a bad school in my opinion. The teachers expect very high expectations even tho the school is in bad conditions, they yell at us and waste our lunch time just because people clapped a few times then they should. Most the teachers lie to us too, and the fact the school isn’t that special of a school anyway. Just because the school is a PARTIALLY selective school, does not mean we have high expectations to the fact theres likely people ruining their mental health without knowing, just to barely meet the expectations. I was told by my music teacher that music is the most ‘important’ subject. She also mentioned music included maths. Then dosen’t that mean music wouldn’t be important or even existed without maths? Clearly maths or english is the most important subject. There’s gum everywhere I go, under the tables, on walls, on floors, I cant have a normal day without accidentally touching the gum. Its disgusting how gum is scattered all over the assembly floor where the school has assemblies at. The fact we have to sit on the gum is absolutely disgusting. I have been intentionally and unintentionally harassed multiple times and i feel extremely uncomfortable sometimes. Most of the teachers are disrespectful, strict and doesn’t listen to their students. They threaten us with detention for one small mistake. My friend wasn’t even allowed to drink water in assembly, neither was i allowed to tie my shoe. The skirts are short too, i hate it. I got harassed and pointed out so many times because my skirt was accidentally tucked in, and then I feel completely embarrassed and humiliated. I think the teachers are lying when they say they notice us, when they don’t even notice how much homework they give us, our mental health (most of the time) and more. They only care about our studies and detention, not if they’re just forcing us to do pages and pages of homework daily. I don’t think they’ll even think about if they give us too much homework, they only care if we get it all correct or not. The bathroom in the office smells absolutely disgusting. I feel like crying when I go in it and they still expect us to go in there normally. Theres also water and toilet paper all over the floor, its horrid. They can do weeks of construction on grass but not fix the smell from the bathroom? I am completely disgusted at this school. I hate it here.

A teacher named miss goro is extremely disrespectful to students and parents and only solution for students is to leave school and never help the students with their studies and attendance. Talks to students as if she is a teenager saying stuff to students like “heard your talking smack about me “ and talks about the deputies to other teachers in front of students and saying the f word and when parents and students speak to her she says she has the upper hand and can kick out students whenever she wants even without the parents knowing. EVERYBODY DOESNT LIKE HER AT ALL AND ITS FOR A REASON AND NO ONE LISTENS TO US.

The school had a great reputation when I enrolled my kids but since the principal is nearly ready to retire he doesn't care anymore. The school has gone so downhill it's like fight club with old school, school yard fights from both boys and girls, vaping all over the school. So much bullying and nothing gets done. Teachers promise to follow up on kids but never do. Teachers have absolutely no control at all. The kids run that school not the staff. It's a disgrace. Office staff manager incredibly rude. Nightmare high.
