This school thrives in spite of the lack of integrity and Christian morality amongst the leadership team. There is a level of unwiseness in allowing an entire family to make up 80% of the leadership team, especially when those in the highest positions are happy to treat people poorly. It is even more concerning the lack of responsiveness to serious issues surrounding misconduct and reportable conduct that the Principal has engaged in. They are so consumed by image protection rather than accountability that they attempt to counter negative reviews by having that 80% write their own reviews and/or reporting any kind of negative review as defamation, spam or breaking of confidentiality. Interestingly, the Principal can speak to her entire family about confidential matters.
This school is one of the best schools in Dubbo. It is remarkable what the leadership team, staff and board have undertaken since its started in 2019 with around 20 students. This school now has over 200 students and I have heard there is a large waiting list for most years. So glad my kids were accepted before the waiting lists. The school appears to be in a large building stage with multiple million dollar buildings under construction. To see this in a relatively new school must show how well the staff and leaders work together to make this one of the best schools. If you are looking for a school with small class sizes, wonderful staff and wellbeing as a focus then this is a school I would recommend.
If the principal and her deputy think what they’re doing is right, then why don’t they come out and talk about how they treat the staff and the mission community living on the property? They bully and control people in a way that’s not okay, making staff feel pressured and scared instead of supported. Good leaders should be fair and care about others, but instead, they seem more focused on themselves. When leaders act selfishly, lie, and treat people badly, things will always turn into a mess—and that’s exactly what’s happening under them.
