Caloundra State High School

This school does not feel safe to be in and everyday I don't wanna go. Everyone there will judge you, everyone there rides e scooters and vapes. They ride the e scooters at ridiculous speeds and I have fallen over due to 2 seniors on the same scooter at once collapsing on top of me. They will ride so fast past you, you could move a little bit and youd be wiped out and badly injured. Theres one teacher who is most definetly a pedophile and stares me down. Going down to N block is like asking for a bad time, now I only go to A block. At N block, teachers only give you about 10 minutes to regain yourself and go back to class,that doesnt work, oh and if that doesnt work for you they will call your busy parents to come and get you and make them yell at you. Major panic attacks don't require just 10 minutes. At this school I have been tramuatised, been cut with a sharp object by someone, and have been verbally abused by students. People judge me everyday and in class but teachers don't do anything. Staff have been very rude to me, yelling at me when asking for directions, teachers calling me slow at Math when I have a processing disorder. A certain Math teacher will call people stupid in class all the time. At the tuckshop, I have received uncooked pizzas which later made me sick, when I reported it at the office they told us to go away. This school is a scummy place with stabbings, many fights, and bad influences who vape in the toilets. Catching someone playing games in class or chewing gum is bigger of a deal to these teachers than someone being hurt. This school says they have a cleaner but it is unsanitary, there are cobwebs and dirt in certain classes and walking around you can see dried up bird shit. Senior uniform, if it gets wet its see through, and Junior uniform will have obvious sweat marks. Anyway, this school is unsafe and some teachers are very rude. Theres one good thing about this school, and that Is the excellence program. As a musician I love learning new songs as assessment and that class is a positive environment with the nicest teacher. But overall, this school is awful. Don't send your kids here please!!

The school is run like a cult. Every phone call I've had from them has been like a scripted blurb from a politician. They bluff and deflect constantly and will not action simple requests. Do not send your child here.

Context: my daughter is a student whilst my son is at a private school (as he is disabled, I would never send him to Caloundra State High). The difference in the way you are treat and respected between the two schools is disheartening.

Such a bad school, terrible vibe and teacher are very grumpy, the p and c are useless aswell. The only good thing at this school are the program of excellence, but they are very limited because the P and C deny any ways to make them better. Bullying is a massive issue at this school and so are drugs and vaping, most kids at this school Sell drugs and vapes, don’t send your kids here

Worst highschool I have ever been to. Was bullied by teachers, insulted and abused, and overall had an awful experience.
I ended up dropping out because of how awful the teachers.
The principal got rid of as many artistic subjects as she could and limited the language program to just French.
I went to the school for the drama and Italian program, by the end of my schooling career there they where both gone and had no other future there.
