Outstanding teachers, great facilities and a supportive culture.
My daughters have attended CCGS for 4 years and both have excelled in their curricular and co-curricular activities. There is an overwhelming number of teachers who are passionate and enthusiastic about education.
The basketball, netball and equestrian coaches are outstanding. A special mention to Mrs Elsa Ribal, who has personally dedicated many weekends to coaching and organising events for the Equestrian team.
The only negatives are the annual increases in tuition fees and the requirement to pay for an upgrade to the school uniform.
Good teachers and facilities, although it does feel like mental health is not taken as seriously as it should be. Also, a lot of focus is put on sport, so much so that it at times feels like it trumps academics. The food at the canteen is wildly overpriced, especially considering what we pay for school fees.
However it is an overall good school.
All staff bad with exception of english staff and canteen ladies. The tours are good but the amount of pressure the school puts on students for extra things is ridiculous and if you dont do them you dont get the same opportunities. One teacher publicly has humiliated a student everyday this week and even made her cry. Everyone seems to be getting injured everyone is in crutches. Wifi is bad. Points increased due to teachers like ms bews, ms owen, mr kerg, mrs sonter, mrs taragel, mrs mcnally, mrs clements, ms reed, mr cooper, mrs bessley, mr doherty, miss morrison, mr flemming, mrs koch, mr koch, mrs waller and mr kiss.
