Please take my advice and do not send your child here.
The deeply concerning experiences my child and family encountered during their enrollment at your institution, which ultimately had such a severe impact on my child’s mental health that they were forced to withdraw from the school. Throughout our time at the campus, we observed a distressing and systemic lack of support and empathy from the teaching staff, whose unprofessional behavior and adversarial approach frequently created an unwelcoming, punitive atmosphere that alienated students rather than fostering their growth. This profound disconnect between the faculty and the student body was evident in the school’s heavy reliance on after-school detentions and frequent phone calls home, which felt less like a collaborative effort and more like an abdication of the school's responsibility to provide internal guidance and understanding. Furthermore, these cultural deficiencies are mirrored by a significant neglect of basic facility maintenance and administrative organization. During a scheduled parent-teacher conference, I was left waiting outside in inclement weather for over thirty minutes due to poor scheduling oversight, only to then observe unacceptable sanitation standards inside the building, including extensive debris and old chewing gum affixed beneath the tables. A school should fundamentally provide a safe, sanitary, and emotionally supportive environment conducive to learning; unfortunately, the current conditions and staff conduct at this campus failed to meet those basic standards, and I hope this formal grievance prompts the immediate administrative and cultural changes necessary to protect future students.
Horrible school, very rare to find a good and caring teacher. Though there are a few. The school only cares about grades, they don’t care about wellbeing and are more concerned with the colour of your socks. Assessments are poorly organised and HARSHLY marked demolishing students confidence and self esteem. (Biased marking). Pretends to be a private school by mimicking other private schools I.e presentation day held at the opera house, each year. The school pulls students out of class for up to 3x per week putting our education at a disadvantage, especially year 12 students who don’t have time to be taken out of class to learn the hallelujah chorus as we have a massive about of content which needs to be learnt. This also puts more stress on the teachers to teach all the content before HSC trials. All for a pointless day which the school cares too much about.
worst school ever. principal sucks and the environment as well. super homophobic school, doesn’t care about students, only teachers. you will get in trouble if you bring up an issue. well-being is also bad. education is good, but other factors bring this down. security is bad we got robbed and also have had multiple teachers leave or get fired due to criminal records or student abuse. overpriced canteen, very few teachers who care about the students.
