Colyton High in 1974

In 1970 to 1974, the calibre of the teachers was poor to say the best, we basically taught ourselves. The only good teacher was an Industrial arts teacher.. The Principal the Deputy Principal and head Science, Mathematics, English and Geography Teachers looked for the slightest excuse to administer discipline of which they got enjoyment out of doing. It was to the point where they argued amongst each other on who would dish out the punishment.
I can only hope that the calibre of the teachers today has improved as you would feed the teachers that worked at Colyton high in the 1970s.

read if you are sending your kid here

some lovely teachers there, made great friends that I still talk to, but because of the school being in a lower social economical area, you are going to have more students that are d***heads than usual. a great school if you want your little entitled private school kid to experience what "the real world" is like. it's not all sunshine and rainbows at colyton high.
