Crestwood Public School

My experience with Crestwood Public School has been quite disappointing, especially as a father who shares custody of his children. Throughout my time dealing with the school, I often felt that fathers were treated differently from mothers. Even though I have shared parental responsibility, I repeatedly struggled to access basic information like report cards, attendance records, and school updates. I had to raise these concerns with the Department of Education several times before anything was addressed, which was frustrating and unnecessary.

I also had concerns about how children from multicultural backgrounds were supported. From what I observed, opportunities for children of colour to participate, be recognised, or take on leadership roles seemed limited. As a parent of children from a diverse background, this was particularly disappointing.

Another issue I noticed is that the school’s Google reviews appear to be hidden or disabled, which makes it harder for parents to share experiences openly or see feedback from others.

I hope the school reflects on these concerns so all parents are treated fairly and all children are given equal opportunity to grow, participate, and shine.

I wouldn't recommend sending your kid here unless a. They're a sporty white boy who takes great joy in tormenting your classmates or b. You have the money to pay for therapy for you kid afterwards

After several years of school here almost everyone I knew attempted suicide because of how terrible the system is there. They have 0 support and make no effort to help their students.
