Darlinghurst Public School is a welcoming and diverse inner-city school with a strong sense of community and a warm, creative atmosphere. The historic buildings and leafy grounds make it a pleasant place for children to learn, and the school offers a rich arts program that many families appreciate. While the environment is supportive and the staff are caring, some parents feel that the teaching quality can be inconsistent at times, with certain teachers appearing less experienced than expected. Overall, it remains a nurturing school, but like many public schools, there is room for improvement in teaching consistency.
The school is shocking. Severe bullying and physical intimidation and assaults by other students . Imagine being surrounded by children not allowing U to escape whilst being yelled at and winding up too afraid to return for days. Imagine constantly having rumours spread or being made to ingest cat food or being threatened to be killed and your told to stop reporting it even though the staff member has admission from the bullies.bullies simply allowed to continue with zero consequences.
Unsafe school with very negligent staff. Massive failures in duty of care. Correct me if I'm wrong but aren't schools legally obligated to report head injuries? Cos this one doesn't and the "investigation" is saying "well my staff member said they did so that's it" how is that an investigation on a very serious matter?
