Davallia Primary School

Davallia Primary School is a super inclusive, and well-educated school. It has proved its place among other schools through many ways. What stood out for me the most were the teachers - They could make you feel like they could listen to anything, when you're feeling down or just want to talk. They act more human than humans themselves. Not only that, they know how to teach good enough while still allowing the kids to have fun. The school Staff care for the students, making sure the students are in a safe environment and are healthy, mentally, socially and physically! There are always so many ways you can extend yourself and try new things, for example: The school choir, String Ensemble (the school orchestra), Chess Club, many sports like netball, interschool sports, PEAC, and etc. If you don't like one thing, there are always so many more things you could try. The school's facilities/buildings themselves are practically always spotless and clean, the cleaners do great jobs. The specialist subject area includes a variety of different subjects, being Drama, French, Art, Physical Education and one of my personal favourites, Music. Speaking of Music, our school music room now as newly bought instruments that took a lot of fundraising to save up for - and they are so worth it! The students also take good care of them and have fun with them at the same time, and are taught to safely handle them. Special needs help (we have a school psychologist, nurse and great Admin team, also the Student Leaders of the school - The Year 6's - who are always there to help if you have problems) is provided all throughout the school. If your child has an intellectual or behaviour disorder, such as ADHD or Dyslexia, there will always be someone to help - including the teachers. In summary, this school is perfect in all sorts of ways. If you are thinking of enrolling your child there, you have made the correct/best decision. All the Staff (teachers and Admin) are absolutely awesome, not only at being awesome, but at being thoughtful, great at teaching and getting along with the students just fine. The school facilities are pristine and our P&C team of volunteers who help with school funds and fundraising, etc, are always keen to help. If I were to choose what primary school I went to again if I time travelled back, I'd choose Davallia Primary School, no doubt!
