The teaching side of the school is very good, providing a good education and a wide variety of courses a student can take. The student side of things is very different, a big group of students don't value the education system and the teachers at the school.
All schools have an element of not so great students. This is because they are a direct reflection of society in general. I have found the school to be very responsive when they deal with bullying or academic issues. The teachers are mostly very good at communicating, and when I have had a problem with any of them, they have been very easy to deal with. The specialist programs at the school, such as the music, sport, stem, and the gifted and talented program a very big draw cards. I think this is a very high-quality public school and I’m very proud to have my two children there with one more coming next year.
The school started off good in year seven however then it took a turn for the worst. A lot of the students are mean and some of the teachers aren’t nice as well (you do have the few nice teachers). i wouldn’t recommend this school unless you want to deal with having your child have a fear of going to school because of these mean kids.
