Fairvale High School

Hi, I was. Student at this highschool. I was assaulted, sexually harrassed and bullied by both teachers and students alike. I had an incident in which a student used his phone to take explicit photos up my skirt and then distribute that across the school. An incident in which he had no legal punishment and a 2 day in school suspension despite doing this to other girls aswell. Upon returning to the highschool no teachers has supported me nor protected me and it led to me having serious harm occur. I was then kicked out of the highschool for getting into a verbal altercation with the boy. The teachers consistently Target and sexualise the female population and then turn around and blame it on the girls and their uniforms. The education is quite poor, with teachers only focusing on the schools looks and students uniform. Very few teachers actually cared for their students and made an effort each day. Multiple students with special needs get neglected as their needs aren't visible enough for there to be help. There had been mulitple times where weapons or serious fights had broke out during the 3 years I was there. As well as mulitple sexual assualt allegations. Multiple animals including but not limited to dogs had gotten into the gates causing chaos and harm, most classrooms don't have air-conditioning, nor insulation. The grounds aren't kept well and on mulitple occasions their had been glass or sharps on them as well as a lack of Shelter. The school is divided up into grades due to the fact the teachers are Ill equipment to deal with students. This causes serious segregation and terf wars amongst students. The food was ok, but heavily over priced with a small chicken burger with mayo, lettuce, a patty and bun costing almost $8, and a single bottle of water Costing about $4.50. the activities were very sparingly used and rarely thought out. Only really aimed at academic or physically fit kids, Leaving very little for those who didn't fit in either category. To put it plainly this school is horrible and doesn't put effort into being a good school, however puts the effort into looking like a good school.
