Don’t be different

This is not a good school if you are anyone different. If you are lgbtq you will face a lot of discrimination, if you have a mental disability you will get little to no help. If teachers don’t like you, you will get treated unfairly. This school is difficult to survive if you are not perfect. They get you in trouble for anything they can think of. E.g. having eyelashes, forgetting a book, having a boyfriend, having visible knees.
If the teachers don’t like you, you are done for. It is not a good learning environment because the school focuses on anything but learning. They care about reputation way too much. This school is overall not an enjoyable place if you are different in any way. I would not recommend if you want your children to have a successful and enjoyable life.

Was at heights from kindy-year9

teachers don’t give a single f^ck about you unless you are apart of the church. if they find out you are lgbtq+ they take you up to the office and talk to you without parent consent and tell you that you are a sin and you should turn to god. they have a public school like interior with a Christian school exterior. The head of primary, Lucy Vanheck doesn’t give a sh*t about any kids besides hers. The principle before the last one knew all the students names and would smile and say hello to you. The last one and this one do not. Avoid Mrs Scott at all costs. If you attend heights.. you know why.
If you don’t understand your work and ask for help, they “try to help” then your on your own. They target out kids who they *think* are the problem kids (which they aren’t) and give them detentions for the most obserd things.
The uniform is more important to them than education.
If you are there long enough, you’ll be able to tell who’s parents are involved with the school because they are the ones that get all the awards and they get away with everything.

Shall I continue?

If you disagree with any of the things I have said, you are close to the school. You have not experienced the things that so many of the other students there have experienced.

Heights College Review- Year 10

Good education, some lovely kids and pretty tight knit grades but it doesn’t feel like the teachers care about you. It’s more often then not that the main focus is your education and though that is a good thing, many students have expressed that they do not feel cared for/looked after in their emotional senses.
