Stuck up "pick me" school
Claim that they care about the mental health of students, yet don't take action when a student is clearly struggling. They only care about a good attendance %, and don't try to help students fix it - they just lecture. Even though this is a public school, it is run like a private school. Way to strict on uniform, like, not every single student can afford a $70 school bag (everyone has to have the school branded, expensive bag, btw). I also disagree on the policy related to jewlery, a couple extra earrings isn't going to hinder a student's learning. This school is too stuck up to care about their students learning or wellbeing.

kids here literally sexually assault students. One kid named Jack literally took an up skirt photo of a year 8 student while he’s in grade 11 himself. School refused to give him any consequences and decided to give him “help” instead with the guidance officer. They only take disciplinary actions based on incorrect uniform. (Such as socks)
Worst School in the Gold Coast
Went from one of the best to quite possibly the worst on the Gold Coast. School claims they care about students but proceed to protect sexual assaulters/harrassers and bullies, caring more about the senior girls not wearing ties than literal people with CP!! School only enacts on suspensions when a kid is pushed to their upmost limit by bullies or harrassers and decide to fight back. I never feel safe nor happy here, and the past years of my schooling has been wasteful.
My poor experience
This school doesn't care about bullying, sexual harassment, sexual assault or any of it, no body gets suspended for any of that but they can get suspended for jewellery, the bully's and sexual assulters/harassers don't even get a detention. DO NOT GO HERE!
Average ah school
This school is nothing but average, many better schools to take your kids to, (besides pimpam) put your kids in this school if you want them to drop out by grade 11. 👍

This school is the worst they do nothing useful they are absolutely useless for that matter. Bullying is a bing problem and they do nothing about it. At helensvale it is extremely racist aswell
Sub-par High School
School cares more about sports then academics. Most of the funding goes into sport academies and not into excursions to further student's learning. Good if you are interested in sports and want to make that your future, but if you are the majority of us who don't see sports as your future, not the school for you. Students are forced to wear a helensvale branded bag which sets you back $60 and helensvale branded socks ($7 a pair). You get in more trouble for incorrect socks and bags then you do for bullying, misbehaving, truancy etc. Also, didn't have ac till I was in year 12 (was there since yr 7). Lastly, noticed that there is a big problem with bullying as school administration and deans don't do anything about it. The chicken burgers are the only reason this gets 2 stars
