they all suck it was so bad and I would never go back.

I went to Immanuel for multiple years. I got bullied multiple times where the school decided not to do anything about it and same goes for my sister and my brother. The schools hired multiple bad teachers during my time most of which got fired after one to two terms because of how bad the classes did. I went through multiple teachers (4-5) in the last two years for certain classes which severely affected my grades and I can say the same for my classmates. The school spends the money on useless renovations, rather than making the things better for students like the locker rooms and tuck shop they spent it on the classrooms which admittedly had no positive affect or change on us and aren’t any more comfortable for any of the students. I understand they might have assumed it would be better for the kids but majority of people don’t like it. They decided they were gonna cut classes for my grade and not bring in certain ones we asked for but brought them in for the grade below so I guess that’s a plus for the new kiddos starting high school. I will admit the primary school is good. They’ve been really great with my brother for the most part as he suffers with some things such as asd. But the high school is definitely not as great as bullying is still not dealt with properly and the rules are stupid and over the top I understand having rules every school needs them but to go as far as a Thursday afternoon for having gum? Or forgetting your hat one time while I’m a rush? Ridiculous. Some teachers are great and you have a good bond with and are genuinely caring while others are not. All depends on your subject and grade. Best of luck if you choose this high school I hope your experience is better than mine was!

I was at the school from halfway through year 4 to the completion of year 9 before moving. My reasoning for moving was due to there being a lack of student wellbeing in the secondary school especially when it came to bullying and mental health and I mean appalling. That isn’t even scratching the surface of the fundamental problems this school has, when I joined my new school everybody and I mean everybody was a full year ahead compared to what Immanuel was teaching. But to give them credit there primary school sector amazing couldn’t ask for better but they really dropped it when it came to secondary.
