Terrible & Appalling

JPC is absolutely ridiculous! Their motto “justice, peace and charity” is the absolute opposite of what this school is! My child goes here and the bullying alone is appalling. There are mean kids in every school. It’s the fact that the teachers do ABSOLUTELY NOTHING to stop it. If your child is even a little bit different (my child is on the spectrum) best believe they will be bullied and WILL NOT have the support of their teachers. I understand that they can’t control everything a student does, but there is absolutely no punishment given to these bullies. I have been told that sometimes some teachers join in on the joke, further making my child feel more alone. I have also noticed teachers and faculty take uniforms as a more serious concern than bullying and discrimination!

Speaking of discrimination, the racial discrimination in this school is disgusting. Many of the white kids in this school are not educated on the basic respect. And surprise surprise, if a student is heard saying racist slurs they don’t receive any punishment. JPC already has very low diversity, they can’t even be respectful to the ones left,

In terms of academics, it is below average. The work my child brings home all consists of bought PowerPoints off the internet. Aren’t private schools supposed to provide our children with the best education? Instead the teachers just tell kids to copy what’s on the PowerPoint, not even teaching the content or even going over it. I have also been told that when my child tries to ask for help in terms of school work, some teachers prioritise the “popular kids”.

Overall this school is appalling! If you want your kid to end up depressed everyday coming home from school this is the place. The only thing your money is paying for is the uniforms (not even included in the ridiculous school fees, that they increase every year) and the fancy buildings. Just send your kids to KBC or to Baptist college if you want a private education. JPC resembles a sketchy public school from Perth with a tuition and a catholic name slapped on it to cover up it’s disgusting school.

I hate Jpc 😡

I hate JPC it is a terrible place for all the kids it is mentally draining and physically disabling , sitting down for 2 hours at a time not being able to drain your Bowles is not ok it is an embarrassment to Kalgoorlie boulder. Even worse then KBC and they have vape there because if you’re not smart you get completely left behind the standards are way out of reach and unrealistic it makes me want to kill myself seriously, the amount of times I’ve thought about running out those gates is terrifying to me. Now that I’ve left I’m much happier and safer. Help me put a stop to this evil school. 🤬 or I’ll kill my self 🥹
