This school is very limited to its small size, with it being too small to host and support many sport, music and other events to the standards of other schools. The student body is also very restricted, which is mostly seen in the little freedom given to student leadership teams and what they are allowed to say at events. A lot of unnecessary drama between students, teachers and parents, staff that seem too distant to the students for their motto "small enough to care" and an overall detached and out of touch central leadership made my experience here quite frustrating.
It’s marketing slogan…”small enough to care, big enough to excel”…is complete rubbish. It was once an all girls school that has struggled to transition to co-educational & has not come to terms with modern education. For the price look elsewhere.
It’s only a great environment for the ones that stay….i wonder if they would be brave enough to publish their student turnover rate?
Great students and staff. Best years of my life. Kilvington has a lot of great programs and classes that were very useful and fun to me that are unique to kilvington - such as the year 9 IMPACT program and the custom electives classes that the school offers. The school cares about your well being and it’s facilities are great, modern and well maintained.
Absolutely terrible school. Horrible school culture with lots of bullying and drama, teachers and staff do not care about the well-being of students (one died on school camp due to medical neglect) and students often leave the school and go elsewhere. The education is average compared to other private schools.
