I noticed bruises and damage on my sons back, turns out he was being repeatedly physically bullied by an indigenous kid and the school knew 😢 However the school never intervened nor notified me.
I went for a meeting with the school. Officially, they're a zero tolerance school, but once parents are out of the way they ignore it.
As other parents said "the parents are worse than the kids".
I'm Koori too. Violence is a huge problem in our community, I hate to add to negative perspectives. Hope other Koori parents can break and come out of the fear and violence cycles!!
The school did nothing so I told my son to fight back. My boy's a beast lol, laid that fkr out flat 🤣 After he fought back, the bully ended up becoming my son's Friend LOLLLZ
I asked my son for his opinion on sending his younger siblings there, when their time came. He said ABSOLUTELY NOT!!! He personally saw year 5 boys lifting and inspecting the skirts of younger girls.
My son graduated in 2019 and I've heard the new principle was actively working against bullying and trying to turn the school around.
My son's entire experience may not be relevant as I write this review in May 2026, and I really hope so! But I've given our account in case it's too much rot for one woman to turn around.
School has no respect for parents and does not care about family court orders. Or there duty of care to the children's safety.. Would not recommend sending a pet to this school. Avoid at all costs.
