Lakeland Senior High School

High staff ratios 12:1, a school that has been half rebuilt in the last few years and a neuro inclusive school. Yes there is the beautiful autism unit but my children are mainstream. Small school but friendly. Grounds still are some of the biggest and very green. Have been there at lunch and actively seen a deputy dealing with bullying very well. You can actually reach and talk to the principal if you need to as a parent. Good programs for academic acceleration if your child is inclined that way. They can get in through hard work and not just a test. There are various different interest groups and clubs that are run during and after school to facilitate social learning. Pancake Fridays my child seems to enjoy. My kids have done well here with the high pastoral care. They aren't just a number at this school.

This school is horrible too picky about uniforms half the teachers nit pick you and then expect u too treat them nice. Only a couple nice teachers rest are shit like grow up.

The school is much too picky about jumpers. It HAS to be plain black and not a good or you WILL mbe forced to take it off even on the coldest of days. No many how many reports the staff receive of unfit teachers nothing is ever done about it. Fights and drama on the weekly!! The school is dirty and old. The bathrooms and gym need to be fixed or redone. The classrooms feel uncomfortable and mostly unsafe and unsanitary. The canteen is way to expensive. Bad school!!!
