A teacher at Lockyer district high school made contact with a minor.
Please beware. A teacher at this school was found guilty of breaching child protection rules. He made direct contact with a minor via teleservices. I have no opinion of school itself.

Not recommend to be enrolled at Lockyer
Myself as an old student in Lockyer district state high school was very bad struggled, bad influence around me, everywhere fights almost every day non-stop bullying, disrespectful, racism. I gladly left this school and environment with me currently is better than Lockyer. However there is good teachers all the teachers is good and nice but the students there is terrible. Even the teacher has to handle bad kids almost everyday and in my new school I am enrolled now there is barely I love my new s...

Poor Advice by Principal
Principal JJ Manning stopped me from progressing to Y12 because I didn’t do Maths B in Y10. I topped my Y10 class on Maths A. It ruined my life in the short term. Just worked on labouring jobs for 7 years until I obtained mature age entry into UQ university studying Horticulture Science. Obtained a GPA of 6.5 plus many academic prizes. Stick that JJ Manning.

i hate this school
this is a very bad with school with awful people who are really mean and very bad. a girl had almost fractured/broke my wrist i told the wellbeing lady and didnt do shit i wanted her to call the girls parents and for her to get in trouble that didnt happen

mental asylum
here’s an example of the type of losers who teach at this dump. teacher emails student asking how they’re feeling, student calmly tells them they cant even hear themselves think in their class cuz its so loud, then this weirdo instead of replying back reports it to the principal who tells them off later for ‘sending rude emails’, same principal who also punishes children for standing up for themselves. they will pretend you’re the crazy one and talk down to you when you’re surrounded by literal...

Don’t bother with this place
Send your kids here if you want them to attend a school rife with bullying, harassment, fights, attitude/behavioural problems so bad that it makes teachers leave, victims of these things getting punished instead of the perpetrators and so on. The people here are careless and disrespectful and will especially be so with your children. No amount of positive influence could change the character of the average Lockyer student.

DO NOT SEND YOUR CHILD HERE
The school is horrendous. The bullying, sexism, homophobia and constant violence is vile. The students have no respect for teachers, their school or their peers. Do not send your child here. They will get attacked. They will get their private information leaked. They will get bullied. And the school will do nothing. They will ignore you.
