I’m am a student that goes to Loreto, Loreto is inclusive of everyone, for transgender children the school provides shorts instead of skirts. Loreto offers extra support for students with disabilities. As most high schools You get good and bad teachers. Loreto absolutely feels like a community. If you become bullied at Loreto, the teachers a quick to step in. Since it’s a small school drama spreads quickly, therefore the teachers hear about it.I would not leave Loreto at all! I love it
I go to Loreto . At Loretto all students are respected no matter if they’re transgender, gay, or bisexual, for kids transitioning to becoming transgender they are shorts available instead of skirts. most of the staff are nice and respectful. there is extra support for students with learning disabilities. I would recommend sending your child to Loreto.
The worst school in Brisbane. Wildly homophobic, abliefst and sexist. Whilst discussing the fact that my teachers forcing me to make eye contact was insanely distracting and distressing (because I am autistic), the year level coordinator yelled at me to look her in the eyes while she talked. Not to mention the drop out rate. By Year 12, there’s barely enough students to fill two classes. And they don’t leave to pursue specialised schools, they leave for places like Cav Road. Because that’s better than Loreto.
Don’t send your kids here. The teachers will ignore your child’s needs, and bully them too. Whilst discussing the fact my teachers constantly pressuring me (an autistic child) to make eye contact distracted me from class, the year level coordinator yelled at me to look her in the eyes. They care about what’s in your wallet more than anything else. The drop out rate is insane. By Year 12 there’s barely enough students for two classes.
If you want your kids to have a good education and high school experience. Don’t send them to Loreto. The school is falling apart, the teachers are horrible and the girls are all bully’s
