Concerns About Political Bias and Culture
I have concerns about the current culture of the school. There seems to be a significant turnover of strong teachers, which is impacting the overall quality of education. From my perspective, the school’s priorities appear to be more focused on fundraising and promoting certain political or ideological viewpoints rather than fostering an environment that welcomes a diversity of perspectives. The administration has not demonstrated transparency and can be defensive when approached with questions or concerns. At this stage, the main advantage of the school is its convenient location.

Lacked care
Saw and heard some very poor behaviour by some teachers - leadership lacked concern for students who struggled in some areas, even avoided telling parents when a child was hurt or upset. The good teachers were outnumbered by the time we moved on… strengths in literacy but very weak maths program.

Was once fantastic
Merri Creek Primary used to be a place were children thrived because there was a culture set by the Principal and her/his teachers. This has changed. Once a focus was on a rounded education that included math, science, English, history etc... Now, they play board games and get taught that if you're a victim, you get everything you want.
