MLC School

Was there from year 1 to year 6 in the 90's. Encountered mean girls and even meaner teachers - one of them threw a book at a child. I hated MLC.

The school is fine. My daughter is having trouble making friends at school. She says the food always sells out in the canteen and the students are pretty mean. Overall, i believe she has a good education in this school and so far, she enjoys her activities in class. Many opportunities but conditions of the school - not so good. There is bird poo on the lockers and ibis steal their lunches. Not sure if it’s true, all info comes from my daughter. Do not send your children to this school if you are hoping for a social life. Education is okay i guess

honestly, the students are very mean and i get pushed in lunch lines the teachers are nice and the activities can be considered fun i guess

Words cannot describe how content I am with my decision moving to this school. At my previous school I was struggling mentality and academically and felt there were no attempts to resolve either issue because ‘I was meeting requirements’. Making the decision to move schools was definitely a big one. But it was the best decision and I can’t imagine not following through with it. I’ve found it is more academically demanding but in the best way possible, there isn’t a looming dark cloud over my head with teachers demanding I get better marks but teachers genuinely helping their students to get those better marks and actually achieving them because of this positive environment fostered inside and outside the classroom. The students are all there for the right reasons, to better themselves and their futures, and even if there are a few bumps on the road there are countless members of stasis dedicated to helping each student achieve the best of their abilities.
