Mount Lilydale Mercy College

MLMC used to be a reasonable school, but over the last few years it has declined in all areas, especially student wellbeing. Bullying is rife, with the "popular" or money donating families getting special attention. Teachers have their cliques, with the devoted teachers becoming very few and the bad teachers becoming the majority. Nothing is done about any complaints made, if you're lucky to have a good teacher on side, they can smooth things over, but rarely fix the problem. There have been notable incidents at this school where students needed to be expelled, but the school turned a blind eye. Don't get me started on the Principal, do your research before sending your child to this school, it is not for children who actually want to learn and do well in life.

i was a staff member at this college and in reflection dissapointed at their support for their staff members...unless your part of the circle your a nobody and treated with disrespect. Being a Mercy school gobsmacked. Some teachers at this school put their heart and soul into these kids others just cruise through with pats on the back

Students & teachers are very accepting of students with physical or intellectual disabilities. Students did not treat me differently when they found out I was autistic, or when I always wore sunglasses and headphones in class. More than just academics are taught, with a strong focus on personal values. Teachers are very and equally respectful whether the student scores the highest or lowest in the class. The school and teachers genuinely care about students mental health as much as a school can and are willing to make allowances for the student to protect their mental health over academics.

Super strict on hair, to a point where you miss out on things, same with uniform where there’s a lot worse happening 50/50 regarding good teachers
