School of excellence - strong sense of community and pride
I attended your Open Day this evening with my two daughters.
I wanted to take a moment to express how outstanding the event was. We were genuinely impressed by the facilities, as well as the professionalism and enthusiasm displayed by your students. From the tour guides to those representing each curriculum area, every student we encountered was friendly, welcoming, and more than happy to answer all of our questions.
The science facilities were particularly impressive—we spent over 75 minutes there alone. The level of engagement, the clarity of the explanations, and the kindness shown to my girls made it a truly memorable experience.
We also found the staff to be approachable and informative, giving us a strong sense that the learning environment is both engaging and interactive. We left feeling that the school offers an experience comparable to that of leading independent schools, and our daughters were especially excited by what they saw and experienced.
It was clear to us that Mt Maria is a school of excellence, with a strong sense of community and pride throughout.
Thank you again for such a well-organised and inspiring evening—and for the sausages, which were a definite hit!

Amazing teachers who always go above and beyond, fabulous opportunities, great approach to behavioural issues when necessary, supportive and outgoing staff. I have loved going here, and I will miss MMC dearly.

It is awful, teachers refuse to be wrong. They abuse power. They do not care for student. Sure some teachers are amazing. Some teachers if your not academic your hated and worse than everyone else. 2/3s of student vape or do drugs, and are rude if you are diffrent
Not bad
Only thing keeping me going were the hpe teachers, always the nicest. There were some teachers that just didn’t know what they were doing and seriously needed to retire but it’s still a pretty good school
I wouldn’t deter future enrolments, but i hope mt maria tries better
I would make this a one star but the tuck shop ladies and library ladies made me rethink the decision bcz i love what they’re doing <3 other than that mt maria you have terrible management and need to rethink your priorities and maybe, just maybe your rank will improve. I suggest teaching classes surrounding racism, sexism and other discriminatory behaviours because for some reason a lot of kids at this school have a superiority complex. Additionally, support the senior grades more instead of the younger ones.

Even though I didn't know many of the ladies attending, I felt completely at ease and in great company. I met a few of the other Mums who were also flying solo, and it reminded me once again of the strong sense of community that makes Mt Maria such a great place.
In our 18 months at the school, I've been consistently blown away by the compassion, kindness, leadership and grace shown by the staff. The way you all bring people together so naturally is something truly rare.
Please pass on my thanks to the whole team for organising such a thoughtful and heartfelt celebration, and the Principal for his authentic leadership. I left feeling very spoilt and grateful for having our daughter at your wonderful school.
