Well I would have put it at zero stars, however I don’t believe this platform would permit this. The English dept don’t know English, to read, write or spell. Year head feels a need to patronise and single out students. The deputy also has a problem with English. The principal defends the lack of education as “teachers are human and they make mistakes” which I would understand if it wasn’t every email/communication or marked paperwork that had errors. Expectations v what is taught are two different things. They believe in self teaching which is written off as independent research. I would not recommend this school if you want your child to succeed, or if you don’t have money to burn!

I attended this school from kindy to year six. This is possibly one of the worst schools in the area. There are only a few nice teacher while the others don’t care about you, your grades and your health. In this school when I was really young I was being handed back tests with a massive D drawn across the front. I was made to feel like any problem I had was a burden, I was told when I was crying that I don’t have time for this, and the teacher rolled her eyes at me and walked away. I was also threatened by a teacher in year 3. This school only cares about the extremely smart students (they would always be favoured) if you aren’t the top student you would get ignored because you aren’t great at certain subjects. The students in my years were very horrible I was being bullied for no reason and teachers said it was my fault. There was the rare nice person but even then… This is just my experience in the Primary school. I have moved school now, and you couldn’t pay me to go back.

Beautiful environment inside and out, and beautiful view of the beach. The campus is stunning. Lots of fun activities, events and camps for whatever subject or area you’re interested in. All carnivals, camps and excursions are very well organised and smooth running, as well as chilled and enjoyable making them some of the best moments of each year. Strong focus on excellence in different areas and not so much participation and serious work load. Hit and miss with teachers. Some are extremely devoted and dedicated to teaching and will help whenever needed even if they aren’t teaching you currently and some teachers will make your life living hell. But there are some real good ones that make going to school the best experience ever. Overall, there are tons of opportunities and experiences available as well as memories to make as long as you do the work and are willing to take the opportunities.
