Ex student here,
Was there from 2017 to 2023. If I am being generous, it was an average experience at best. The teachers do absolutely NOTHING about issues such as bullying, harassment, or any form of abuse. I remember one time two other students (who will remain anonymous) got into a physical altercation and the class teacher didn’t even try to resolve the issue, instead she just sent them straight to the principals office. Everyone of my teachers had a bias towards certain students primarily because they were smart. If you aren’t intelligent, then they will treat you like dirt. One of my teachers in my senior years was noticeably heavily biased towards female students over male students, this included not giving the other students an equal opportunity, keeping students after class for no real reason, and in general it being an absolute nightmare. The school claimed to be trying their best to prevent issues like these, but whatever their “best” is, cleary isn’t enough if these issues are persistent over the years. In short, all the school cares about is whether you’re academically successful. They don’t try to teach their students how to be good people in the real world. Once you graduate from here, they don’t care at all whether you go to jail or become a famous person. Some notable teacher mentions of such incidents include Helen Crockett, Liz O’Meara, and Katherine Bleechmore. If your child is taught by one of these teachers listed above, I’m warning you it will be an absolute nightmare.
