Overall a terrible, controlling school. The staff are incompetent, are not properly trained, and get off on policing students over ridiculous nonsense. The 2026 graduates are not getting proper graduation ceremony, only the year 12 graduates and year 11s are able to attend, and head of staff, NO parents, NO siblings, NO teachers, NO other students. The students were not consulted before this decision was made. The year 12s are not allowed a muck-up day because the staff believe it is unsafe, reckless, and does not “reflect the dominican policies of the school”
The year 12s are not allowed to wear their custom name jerseys PROVIDED BY THE SCHOOL because it is “not apart of the uniform” as it doesn’t have the school crest on it, yet the jumper for the school’s winter uniform doesn’t have a crest and is allowed??
This school is nothing more than a bunch of shitty adults that thrive on control. They are some of the most narcissistic and condescending people you will ever meet. To any parent reading this, you’re better off sending your kid somewhere else. If you don’t want to listen to your kid complain about how this school is full of bullshit, send them somewhere else.
Current Student - Former public school to San Sisto student.
I haven't been attending this school long. I joined for 11 and 12 after coming from a public school. The school grounds and facilities are clean and neat, the school itself is quite small but they make very good use of the space they have. Resources that they provide are great! Teachers are all very friendly and really helpful when u ask for a hand. They are clear about dates and don't change them at all once they are set (my public school did this alot) any time they do change a date its by a day, maximum. As most schools are they are strict on their uniform and jewlery, etc. In general this school is significantly better than my former school.
The only thing I would change about this school (which I know is not in their control) is the busses! Specifically the afternoon 856. That bus is always completely full every day plus it picks up lots of the White Hills students. There have been several assaults and fights on this bus which really needs to be sorted out.
Hope, this helps and you find a good school for your kids!
I left after two years. I couldn't even get out of bed most days just because I was having such a bad time.
I wasn't being bullied by the students (although that is another isssue), I was basically just being bullied by the school itself.
I have ADHD and ASD, and the school did nothing to help my learning.
One of the "best" teachers there said I was stupid because I didn't know what the assessment was after my gran died during online learning, which was just fantastic for me!
Would not recommend sending your kid to this school unless they're 100% neurotypical and has never had an issue with school, or if you want them to get kicked out for being trans.
Lots of love, hope you find them a good school
