My experience

Honestly, my time at the school was great up until years 4 to 6 where I saw some of the injustice of the school.

At one point at the school a now friend and I were having this whole argument about if that now friend had done something to a former friend and it got to the point my now friend ran around the school threatening to punch me and all the school did was ultimately tell me I was overreacting and it wasn't that deep.

It was also clear once I was in year 4 that there was some obvious bias towards certain students from the teachers. I had this one friend who was super close with this young teacher and that friend could do something and the teacher would find a way to ping it on another student. There was also multiple accounts where the young teacher would get mad at a student for doing the smallest of things and would make those students cry. There was an occasion that one of my other friends was crying and the whole class went to comfort her but then the teacher literally yelled at us all saying we didn't need to comfort that friend and she was fine.

In year 6 I found it quite infuriating how the school spent it's money, as instead of spending it on things that would benefit the current students like an actual hired nurse, they spent it on image such as roughly 50 posters around the school. It was clear fundraising did always go to the alleged receiver. The school also claimed the bathrooms were going to renovated in 2025 but that never happened.

This year I heard of an incident that one of my friend's siblings was being bullied and was injured from said bullying but instead of the school helping that student, the school did nothing and defended the person who was bullying. Nothing happened and the victim was left injured.

I think the school could improve on extracurriculars because there were no sport teams or clubs.

Away from all these bad things I did think the school being a single stream school really helped because the principal knew everybody's names and the community felt more loving. The OSC (out of school care) program is exceptional and I totally recommend that. Overall I did enjoy my time at the school considering I made some wonderful friends there I just think better precautions could have been taken.

Santa Clara School

I did not have a great experience at this school. The teachers had obvious favourtism and grudges against me and other students. I did not learn much at this school either and they taught the bare minimun. They did not manage the money well and often used charity money they collected on themselves. They also claimed they were renovating the bathroom in 2025 but never did. They did not dicipline the students there and in class time students would be on youtube.

On the Brightside:
The school really eased us into all of our learning areas and they were not to focused on academics.
