Management can be quite harsh with subordinates (classroom teachers). Some members of the executive make unionism difficult (limit reach of reps), others enjoy discipline meetings which can be demoralising and based in supremacy, some like to call unlisted references (in terms of job seekers) as they deem themselves to be 'connected' and entitled to personal insights. So be careful. Oh, and they expect you to be fully transparent when looking for employment elsewhere. Failure to do so can result in (yet another) dressing down.
