Please do not send your children to St. Catherines unless you are willing to sacrifice the wellbeing of your child.
In the 3 years my child spends at St Catherine's, they constantly faced bullying. This might sound sensitive and as someone who did not pay much attention to bullying and mental health, brushing it off as something child has to face to encounter the real world, but I was mistaken.
The lack of teachers also contributed to this. My child could not even approach a teacher about this incident as there was no reliable teacher. Every year, my child's teacher always changes half-way through the year. So they have 2 teachers a week. Moreover, they aren't even approachable. My child does not even feel comfortable to tell them about his incident and that shows how bad the school is at managing bullying.
As a parent, I can see how the mental health of my child is deteriorating - comes home and cries in bed every night. My heart aches looking at them but I feel helpless too.
