Elitist school
Ex-student here. A painfully overwhelming majority of the cohort are rich, white, privileged Australian girls, which easily gives way to bullying for outcasts. Students are openly racist without repurcussion -- My friend was once asked by a classmate if she 'ate dogs'. Support for queer/neurodivergent kids is minimal. Some events that recognise Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people, but most kids are ignorant. Teachers are a mixed bag. There is one who has been reported for harrassment...

St Mary's is a excellent school!
This school offers so many co-curricular opportunities that I don't know where to start. I've seen the bad reviews and they are not true. The 'bad' uniform is your opinion and have you ever seen a school where NO ONE has been bullied, even just a little bit? The teachers are extremely nice and the school is diverse in cultures and where everyone comes from. (Suburbs... etc) It is a great school for your daughter to feel supported and loved in. Go to St Mary's!

Girls only schools, hormone overflow
Where to start... so much bitching and gossiping... bullying is definitely happening. If you not pretty, supersmart and rich then dont bother going there. Obviously the single ed doesnt work, old fashioned and should be changed by now. The uniforms are atrocious something out of the 60s. I m happy i changed school.

could be better
I've been here since I was six, I'm now 15. There were a lot of shitty students and teachers in jnr school and there still are in high school. Constantly bullied from ages 6 to 8. Constantly getting comments and weird looks for being lgbt+ and neurodivergent. They still haven't changed the uniform despite the numerous complaints and requests, they stated they're working on it but that it will take over 4 years, and thats just for a pair of pants. The pressure they put on you is so intense that a lot of people including myself have developed mental illnesses, and many students have straight up left.

Inappropriate staff behaviour
Honestly don’t expect to be taken seriously by the admin of St Mary’s my parents went to the principal several times about a teacher who was treating me unfairly to the point it caused a physical injury, I and other students had made a list of inappropriate behaviour from this teacher and they did nothing about it. She still works there today. The year group above me allegedly had a petition by the parents about a separate teacher disclosing information about her sexual life to them. That same t...
